My Story

Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a bit. I’m Sarah! My passion for the human body and how it moves began long before my formal education. I grew up as a very active individual, playing sports like Volleyball, Track, Swimming, Basketball and doing other fun outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and skateboarding; during my involvement over the many years, I would undergo some of my own injuries and recovery processes. This upbringing instilled in me a deep curiosity for movement, injury prevention, & rehabilitation. That passion for movement and understanding how our bodies work eventually led me to pursue formal training.

In 2014 I attended the Santa Barbara Massage Therapy Institute, where I first experienced the profound impact of therapeutic hands-on bodywork. After attending a Trigger Point class to which successfully address a student's low back pain, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to help others feel better in their bodies, so I became a CAMTC Certified Massage Therapist (certificate # 49334).

After a few years of working as a CMT, I realized that I had a passion to learn more about the capabilities of the human body and how it moves so I decided to pursue higher education at Santa Barbara City College. There I earned my Associate's degree in Kinesiology in 2021 while simultaneously obtaining my Yoga Teacher Certification. This built a strong foundation in my understanding for how our bodies function. To further deepen my knowledge, I attended Westmont College in the hills of Montecito  and earned my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science, graduating  in 2024, with Cum Laude honors. This program allowed me to explore the mind-body connection and the principles of functional & physiological movement —key elements in recovery, health, and overall vitality.

I truly believe that by thoughtfully combining the benefits of therapeutic bodywork with individualized, intentional movement, we can significantly enhance a person's well-being and support lasting health and longevity. I'm very passionate about the human body and the incredible ways we can support our well-being through movement and hands-on care.

I'm excited to share this integrated approach with my community and support you on your journey towards feeling your absolute best — I'd love to connect and help you achieve your wellness goals so please reach out!
